Question about GPU

Post Body

So I recently had an anomaly in the game Control. I went to the Control sub Reddit to see if this was content or if it was my rig. I was told this is signs of my GPU about to shit the bed. I was then told to bring it up here to get opinions/recommendations. Is this actually my GPU going out? Had the rig maybe 3 years (since quarantine) it’s a gaming laptop Asus RoG zephyrs I think it’s called. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti with Max-Q Design Is the card itself. (Attached Image of graphic anomaly) Also shouldn’t laptops be “serviced” I swear I heard that’s a thing.
