Went away on honeymoon, while we were gone the PC should have been off the whole time, but I did notice that the light switches giving it and other things power were off when we came back. Likely due to the cat sitter. Anyway now everytime we start up the PC we get the A2 code on the MoBo, then quickly goes through A9 and A6 codes as it goes to the EVGA BIOS startup.
I have tried reseating the RAM when I thought it was memory related but the EVGA site states that A2 means a "IDE Detect" which, as I understand it, means one of the connections has an issue. I've reconnected the SATA cable from one of the HDDs on both ends and restarted with no change. Before leaving I was considering resetting the CMOS. IDK if this is the right move or not.
Any and all help you may provide is appreciated, thank you.
I have a EVGA Z490 MoBo. I am currently at Uni right now so I don't have more details available at the moment and won't be able to act on suggestions until later.
