please help me figure out what changed or what I can do to fix my fps problem
Post Body

So here are my PC specs: Gpu: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 TI Hybrid Cpu: Ryzen 5 3600 Ram: Corsair 16gm ram 3000mhz PSU: Corsair 650 80 plus Mobo: Asus B450 Tuf So I've had this computer for about 2 years now and it ran literally every single game perfectly. I'm talking 60 fps with no drops below that. I mainly play valorant and it use to run at about 220 fps and never lower. Same thing with steam games they'd run at 100 fps max. Now recently I'm not sure what happened but my fps on ALL my games dropped significantly. I noticed this when I launched Apex legends and it never went above 25 fps. I've played apex on my PC before and it ran at a decently high fps. No matter if I turn the graphics settings all the way to low the fps stays essentially the same. I looked all over the internet, attempted power management settings to max performance, changed regedit settings, changed Nvidia control panel settings, basically everything that is recommended I tried and it did not work. I had task manager up while running games and the usage doesn't go above I'd say 30- 40% and my CPU is not heating up either. Max temp is goes to is I'd say 53 degrees but never higher. It was recently cleaned so I know that's not the problem. I don't know much about PCs but I know I have a pretty decent rig for 2022 gaming and it's had no issues running games at high settings before. I even played Spiderman remastered fully with fps no lower than 60. Can someone please help me fix this? I don't want to sound like a loser but this is really all I have and it's what makes me happy after long hours at work. I don't want to have to get rid of it.
