Hey all,
I've recently been having some audio issues with my PC. Plugging my headphones all the way in to the speaker makes it so that only the right earbud functions properly and has sound, while plugging it in halfway does the same with the left side. Unplugging headphones and relying on the main computer speakers for sound works for a bit but then the sound gives out there also. I'll crank the volume to 100 percent and it will be virtually inaudible. Shutting down my pc appeared to fix the issue once but it has not worked since. I've tried new earbuds too but the situation was no different. Utilizing the windows 10 audio troubleshooter provided no solution. I'm not sure of the model number of my speakers but I got them with my PC back in 2015. They're a cheapo $30 set of speakers with a subwoofer. They've worked fine for the past 6 years and still sound great when they actually work lol. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much.
