I'm trying to build a new pc, but the motherboard isn't detecting the M.2 NVMe drive. They are listed as compatible on the MSI site. When I look at the board explorer and list of storage on the board it does not show up as there. I've reseated it multiple times to no avail. I flashed BIOS with the latest drivers successfully.
MSI techs suggested " Please make sure the Windows 10 WHQL support (UEFI) is enabled in the BIOS > Settings > Advanced > Windows OS Configuration menu and save and exit "
I tried that, but it didn't do anything either. I tried to install the samsung NVMe drivers, but it wouldn't let me since it doesn't see a Samsung NVMe device.
Here are the other parts of my build.
MSI b450 a pro max
Samsung EVO 970
WD 1tb SSD (from old build. Using it as boot drive until the evo 970 works)
NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB (also from old build.)
Silicon Power ddr4 - 3200 (16GB)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
