How screwed am I?

While replacing the charging dock of an old Asus K550V laptop I broke a pin (the one most on the left of the J3801 slot). I'm not even sure I can plug in the connector anymore (on the top of the picture) without potentially bending or breaking the other pins. I can't find the schematics and I can't tell what this part could be for, but apparently it needs to be plugged in for the PC to work . What course of action would you recommend?
