I just got my first computer my friend put together for me. I've had it for a few months but it's super slow. i think i spent over 1k on it with an OK graphics card. I've tried countless methods to get it to a functional speed, but it's taking way to many hours just to download a 40gb game. I have fast internet, I've don't virus scans, I've messed with settings and different cleaning processes on it, and it's barely able to play YouTube at 480p. I think at some point I did a hard shut down too (it was frozen and not even the power button could turn it off so I pulled the power cable. I think that could be part of the issue? Idk)
At this point, I just want to do like a factory reset and buy windows 10 again or something. Is this a viable option? Should I just take it to a repair shop first? I don't have any important files on it or anything
