is not the first time i build a PC from scratch, but last time i did was 10 years ago, this time around i wanted to give my husband a new one, but am stomped.

Things that work all the time.

-the lights turn on

-fans spin

-to test the power supply i connected a razor keyboard to the back panel that turned the lights on and off when the PC was powered.

-the USB panels work (connected a phone charger to it)

Things that doesn't work.

-the graphics card doesn't give signal.

-the board´s back panel HDMI doesn't give signal. (i believe it is because the core i7 i got doesn't have integrated graphics.)

Odd things.

connected the PC to my already running screen, the screen remained black but discord picked up a new HD Audio device and asked if i wanted to switch.

the graphics card really only fit comfortably on the topmost slot.

the components are.

CPU: Intel i7-13700F Raptor lake LGA1700 8P 8E

Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S redux 70.75 CFM CPU Cooler

Board: ASRock B760M Pro RS/D4 WiFi Micro ATX LGA1700 Motherboard

Memory: Adata XPG Z1 DDR4 2440 8GBx2 (from his old still functioning pc)

Storage: Samsung 870 QVO 2 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Western Digital Black SN770 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive

Graphics card: ASRock Phantom Gaming OC Radeon RX 7900 XT 20 GB Video Card

power supply: be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 850 W 80 Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply.

Things that i have tried.

-connected the whole in different screens, trying every HDMI, DP cord and slot on both machine and 3 different (old) screens that are currently functioning.

-change power supply and reconnected every plug,

-rearranged the system panel small plugs.

-moved the rams from slot to slot (currently on A1 and B1, but have tried every combination, included none)

-disconnected the graphics card and ran it without and with it.

-disconnected every SSD and HDD (tried without any installed)

-tried to run without any peripherals except screen.

-checked on the CPU positioning

-moved the graphics card from slot to slot

-reconnected the ATXPWR1 cable.

i have listed every specific and things i have tried, if someone can lend a hand it would be mighty appreciated, if i miss something please do let me know, ill be paying attention to this thing the whole day
