I was forced into upgrading recently after my last mobo began failing. I got the parts Saturday and put it all together, but to my suprise nothing is working. The mobo has indicator lights showing the potential issue, and as it's attempting to start on a single RAM stick it goes from yellow (DRAM) to red (CPU) and then back to yellow. On 2 or more sticks of RAM it stays a constant yellow. I have swapped the different sticks of RAM more than i swapped yugioh cards in middle school, and even bought more brand new RAM to ensure they're not bad sticks or incompatible. I also reseated the CPU multiple times and checked for bent pins while i was at it. I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out what the problem is. Specs are below:
Mobo: Asus AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz
PSU: EVGA 210-GQ-1000-V1,1000 GQ, 80 GOLD 1000W
All parts above are brand new, fresh out of the box, everything else (drives, GPU) is unplugged until i can get into BIOS. I also have 5 older sticks of DDR4 RAM that i have been swapping, and a 750W Bronze PSU that i have tried to sub in case power was the issue, with no luck. I've got no other compatible Mobos/CPUs to test with so at this point i'm trying to make sure i know where the issue is before i make any returns. Any advice from those that have run into similar issues?
