So I tried my luck in buildpc already and got no help. I have no idea what any terminology in reference to wireless cards is and have spent 4 hours scratching my head in confusion. I need to replace my wireless card so I can ditch the external adapter I am using, as it is highly inconvenient with all the taking to school I do with my HP ENVY 17 Notebook, Product number: PCG0U27AV. And a lot of my games have an online component and my external adapter is just not cutting it.
I have no idea what I should replace my broadcom 802.11n not even just typing that into amazon helps me. My device manager says PCI, but that adapter on amazon says it's mini PCI. I am so lost and confused and just want to find hopefully a better network adapter for my computer.
So please could someone help.
