Asking for my friend. He just built his first gaming pc with my help but we have a problem. it keeps freezing and crashing when he plays games. We have triple checked connectors. At first we thought maybe the GPU, a radeon 480, was overheating, opened up the case to blow a fan on it didn't go above 62 C, still crashes. Next we thought maybe it was a motherboard problem or maybe a faulty GPU. So we took my GPU, a nvidia 960, and swapped them, then we both played for about an half hour with no problems, Previously it was crashing within 5-10 minutes. swapped them back and the crashes still happen. At this point im not sure what to do, is it a part incompatibility? Too much power draw for the PSU?
