I'll start with a general overview and then get into the specifics of what I tried to remedy this. Everything was fine before I moved into a new apartment this week.
My Heroes of the Storm Turtle Beach Headset will not play sound except when testing under "Playback Devices" and "Recording Devices" and when I test it out in TeamSpeak. I hear the tones, I hear the pre-recorded message in TS, I can even record sound through the microphone, but when I play back the recording, I hear nothing. At one point during the troubleshooting, I was able to get sound from Hearthstone, but not Overwatch or YouTube.
I have an HP Envy, H9-1150 with the audio jacks on the top front of the machine as well as rear. I use a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Keyboard that has audio jacks. I've tried both the front and rear 3.5mm connections with and without the keyboard and I can't seem to get sound. I've tried uninstalling the audio devices and their drivers and rebooting, but that hasn't helped either.
Thanks in advance for any assistance with this.
