I recently upgraded my PC to try and enhance my gaming experience. I just put in a Z97MX-gaming 5 motherboard along with a 750W bronze EVGA PSU, and a second EVGA 670GTX to attempt SLI with the one i already had. While trying to run overwatch i found that many objects and characters in the game were not loading and my FPS was abysmal. I had previously played with a different motherboard and my original 670 and had no problems running overwatch whatsoever. I'm fairly new to this but i believe that every cable in there is connected properly and my monitor is plugged in to the graphics card output.
System Specs:
750W bronze EVGA PSU
Z97MX-gaming 5 motherboard
Intel Core i5 4690K CPU
2x EVGA 670GTX (FTW Edition)
G.SKILL NS Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 RAM
3DMark is also Listing Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 under GPU, but i have no idea what that is about
I ran some tests on 3DMark and got these: Graphics score: 11 903 Graphics test 1: 55.79 FPS Graphics test 2: 48.26 FPS Physics score: 2 009 Physics test: 6.38 FPS Combined score: 1 806 Combined test: 8.40 FPS
I then unplugged one card and tested both individually with similar results for both cards: Graphics score: 6 689 Graphics test 1: 32.31 FPS Graphics test 2: 26.44 FPS Physics score: 2 334 Physics test: 7.41 FPS Combined score: 1 744 Combined test: 8.12 FPS
From what i can tell something is interfering with the physics but i am unsure what it is or how to test to find what it is. My GPUs shouldn't be the issue as i used one of the 670s previously and it worked just fine, as well as the fact that they both tested nearly the same (even though the scores were poor). Google doesn't seem to be much help for me either. Any help would be appreciated.
