Right now the upgrades I've made to the computer (mid-2009 MBP, Windows 7 Ultimate partitioned) are maxing out the RAM (8GB DDR3 1066) and replacing the HDD with a SSD. My biggest issue is my graphics chip. It's a Nvidia 9400M (256MB) and it SUCKS.
I know enough to know that I can't upgrade the card, nor is it possible, as far as I know, to allocate more RAM to the chip as it shares the VRAM from the RAM.
Ideally I need a new computer and I'm saving up to build one. But it just sucks not being able to run so many things. Is there anything at all I can do that would improve performance?
