I'm majoring in Social and Clinical Psychology, and I'm just about to start my thesis. I want to find out if gamers (namely, pc gamers) perceive fear distinctly from people who don't spend as much time playing on their computers. I'm designing an experiment where I'll ask gamers and non-gamers alike to play a collection of horror games while they're hooked up to a heart rate monitor, and see who gets spooked the most. Afterwards, they'll tell me about their experience.
That being said, I would like to know:
What's the average weekly time (in hours) you guys spend gaming?
I'd ask your 3 favorite indie horror games to use them in my experiment, but I think that's not allowed according to the sidebar.
