This world you are in isn't the first one ever made. The first world was our irl world, filled with science and technology, as well as the gods there in, but, it fell to ruin. Chaos, the primordial force of life, broke free, and swallowed the world hole. Before that, what gods remained in that world discorded a new plane of existence, and ran to it. This world, the second world, was a lot different from the first world.

It was a world filled with magic and full of charm, it was a very magic fueled land, and the land lived in relative peace. That world lasted for a while, but one day a beast made from Chaos appeared., and began to ravage the land and brought it to its ruin, draining the life from the world, and forcing the gods to run again.

In the third world, a woman, now known only as the Red queen, gained the powers of imortality, and overthrew the gods, taking them out with the help of two other powerful humans, and became the gods. Uniting the world under their banner, they managed to subdue and defeat the beast of chaos, that hadn followed to this world to take them down. and thus humankind was finally saved.

With this task down, the Red Queen set about to a new prokect- restoring life to the second world, and reviving the world that was cut short of life

The Party will be playing characters that have agreed to become part of the 'Revival Force', essentially the first settlers in a world that has fallen to ruin, with the goal of resettling it, solving its problems, and helping the world heal. It will go between social, combat, and investing into the town to watch it grow.

I am a relatively new DM, though i have experience i haven't flexed my muscles, so there are bound to be some mistakes, so i expect courtesy, both to myself and your fellow players.
