I think it should be okay to shut off a drain

So, I invited a Domme onto my laptop via anydesk and left throne logged in as agreed, but did not discuss budget. In fairness, neither of us brought it up... She did an initial throne drain of $50, but then added $100... was going for more, but I disconnected anydesk. Is that bad. I mean it was $150 and climbing without an agreed upon cap.
