How to find a geniune UK based dom?

For all the bad press subs get for apparently not being geniune enough, I found quite a lot of "doms" that I have spoken to are literally just trying to make a quick buck. No one seems to be in the lifestyle for mutural benefits to both parties and its a shame that there are people out there that just want to try and scam everyone with every sob story going.
And why does every "dom" ask what I do for a living within the 1st few questions they ask you lol.
