Hey all, a buyer contacted me on my inactive Reddit account, he bought a service for ÂŁ100 he paid in dollars which was $128. I was supposed to fulfill this online service on the 4th of March 2024, I gave the buyer my number as he was made well aware that I wouldnât be able to communicate over reddit. On the 4th I was ready to fulfill my end, as I was doing so he text me for an update and within 5 minutes filed a claim through PayPal. He never sent any further messages before hand, I questioned the buyer and couldnât get an answer, the documents he sent was my Reddit profile he originally contacted me on saying âhe was blockedâ and then a screenshot of a deleted post that was apparently linked to identity theft (it wasnât it was a post about MY forms of ID being expired) also claimed he tried phoning me all day but funnily enough he never provided proof. he eventually got back to messaging me threatening if I didnât pay him $190 (more than what he spent) on an app called wise not a single sole would see me âtaking part in identity theftâ I offered to give him a refund of what he paid for if it meant he cancelled the dispute but he wasnât willing. Cant add funds to my PayPal account so itâs stuck at negative. Iâve tried for days to upload documents of the texts but every time I do the page refreshes and none of the documents get saved. Help?
