In the wake of /u/GeoffPortnoy's resignation as a mod of /r/paydaytheheist I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to the mods of this sub.

There is obviously all the stuff that has because of Crimefest. Thank you for the daily sticky posts about each Crimefest event. Thank you for organizing the Almir AMA. Thank you for allowing the community to be able to speak openly no matter what side they took in the last few weeks.

But there's of course so much more than this. Thank you for making an aesthetically pleasing sub. Thank you for helping the break crime.net event during the road to crime fest. And probably the most important thing for me is thank you for fostering a community that has increased the enjoyment I've had with this game an immeasurable amount. A lot of the fun of Payday is being able to come here and find people who enjoy the game as much as I do, want to talk about the quirks of the game, want to talk about builds or whatever else. Mods do what they do for free and I can't thank you all enough for putting in so much effort into this sub.

I will still be here as I like to play the game and I'm excited for Halloween and hopefully Christmas events and the fun to come both in game, and on this sub thanks to the mod team. Keep being awesome.
