I got a VR headset for my birthday awhile ago (quest 2 that I use a link cable with), and recently got this game due to hearing a lot about it. I honestly don’t see the hype. The game is just too easy for my liking. The enemies just run towards you or mindlessly shoot at you with no interesting tactics (hell, I just remembered a video showing a guy beating an enemy by putting a trash can on it), and none of the puzzles felt that challenging. The physics are cool, but there isn’t any depth to make them feel meaningful. The Half Life comparisons I kinda get, but at the same time Half life (at least the first one, for some reason I haven’t gotten to playing HL2 yet) shows where this game fails. Unlike Boneworks it feels like it puts you in more unique situations using its mechanics. Surface Tension is my favorite example. I can see why people like Boneworks, but it isn’t for me personally.
