I've completed all the Arkane games (super fan of the immersive sim sub-genre) save the Prey DLC (which is in progress), and I've put my eyes on the first Arkane game, which I started once (pirate) on launch (and abandoned it for either the long loading times on my computer or the language), then again when I got it on GoG (and abandoned it due huge performance problems).
Now I got a beefy computer and I've seen that Arx Libertatis is still receiving updates, so I've decided to start anew and see if I can complete the last Arkane title I had pendant.
Thing is that for most RPG's I try to go the non-warrior route, just to "do something different" from any random action game, but it seems casting in Arx is a bit weird and not really comfortable.
So, well, which kind of character would you suggest me to run? I'm trying to avoid the generic warrior, but I don't know if the game is too strict with the character build, if I should stick to some specific role (Rogue/Warrior/Mage) and how feasible are. Any suggestion?
