Just got into PC gaming after being a console guy for many years. I saw Dead space 2 was on sale last week I got it. Previously I played the full trilogy. I found 1 and 2 really good. 3 being disappointing. I decided to go back to get my survival horror fix.

It's a really good game. They mix up the gameplay enough for me with puzzles, zero gravity sections, a decent variety of combat sections, introducing new enemies. Looting and upgrading your kit. The gameplay reminds me of resident evil 4 in a lot of ways where your managing groups of enemies and things like that.

On the bad side I would say some things are outdated. Like quick time events can be the worst sometimes.

As a survival horror fan. Hardly any good ones come out these days , some notable ones I enjoyed: ( outlast 1/2, resident evil 2 remake, resident evil 7 ( havent played it yet) I could be missing some but feel free to provide recommendations.

Overall the game came out 2011 but its still really amazing. I'm a huge resident evil 4 fan so I love the gameplay.
