I’m looking for opinions on where I should start in the Pokémon series.

I currently have: Ruby, Fire Red, Black 2, and Sun.

However, I (luckily) have a relatively disposable income and could potentially get any game really provided evidence I should start there.

Consoles I have: All Nintendo handhelds, switch, and Wii.

I think I may have played Fire Red a tad when I was younger, but honestly don’t remember much about it.

I’m just looking for your guy’s opinions on what I should buy/play first and why. Old graphics/gameplay don’t bother me at all, I’m just looking for some opinions from people who have played multiple generations of these games.
