Yarrr!!! That's what Pirates say! Wait, it's Arrr, isn't it? Who says Yar?
Anyway, hi guys! So a little over two years ago I made this post about not being the only one who has a hard time sticking with just one game 'till the end. And here I am, 2 years closer to being 40, still love gaming as much as I did back in the early 80's but damn it, I almost never beat a game!
I still have not completed any of the Witcher 3 DLC's despite knowing that I will love every minute of my playthrough. Nope! I've played all the latest games that have released in these last two years and loved a lot of them. But in those two years the only game I've managed to beat was Borderlands 3. And can you even really say you "beat" BL3 when 1) You only did it with one character and 2) The game arguably doesn't even really start until your second playthrough? I know that there is no rule or something that says you have to beat all the games you play or anything like that. But from what I can tell, when people enjoy the game, most of them seem to play it until it's completion and don't get burned out in the process. Hell, I don't even think I'm burning out anymore. I think it's more of an attention issue. Or maybe some other random issue. Or who knows. This is hardly the topic to turn into some deep philosophical examination of ones true motives when farming rare spawns for just one good qausar, please, is it too much to ask for RNJesus?! But it helped me realize I have (and have had) a problem with attention for a long time.
Anyway, anyone else out there that experiences anything similar? Do you not beat games for a different reason? Burn out? No time? Is "male pattern baldness" a real thing?
Thanks for humoring this random post....

It's kind of funny that you mention multiplayer games.
Sooo, just over a year ago, I posted this gem.
