After not playing fallout 4 since 2016 I went back to it and I'm having a fun time. The main problems I had with the game was dealing with weight. You can level up and give companions loot to deal with it, but it was still annoying.
Going back to the game you can install mods now( I play on PS4) that can get rid of the over encumbrance bit and loot all you want. Which makes looting for weapons mods easier and just a better time. The first time I played it I never did weapons mods cause dealing with weight was ass.
Another problem is lack of choices in questlines compared to fallout 3/ NV ( theirs a video from a youtuber called " ruskie" called "why fallout 4 failed" that explains it)
Regardless of these problems I'm enjoying my time more this time. Experimenting with mods, exploring, choosing a different faction to align with.
The first time I played 4 I was disappointed with the problems I had. Now I have lower expectations and just treating it like a fun shooter with RPG elements.
