For the longest time I had wanted to experience both games, and I knew that I eventually would. I had seen and heard countless people praise the game, but for some reason I kept putting it off.
Then the ps4 release happened with both games and the community seemed to agree that the series did not age well at all. Shenmue impressed people with what it had attempted to do at the time that it came out, however, it didn't exactly excel at any of it's individual components. The flaws in the game seem to be quite prominent now.
So there it sits on my shelf, collecting dust. I want to play it, I just wish I had done it a long time ago.
Do any of you have advice on the mindset I might go into the experience with in order to enjoy it more?
