Is it worth it to buy games on GOG sales rather than Steam?
Post Body

I really love Steam. I love the achievements, I love looking at my big game library, and I like being able to be on the same platform that all my other friends are using. But I'm also a really big saver and have a hard time spending money.

Now I obsess over the Steam sales as much as the next guy, but I have been recently been getting emails from GOG.com (I downloaded one of their free games) and they have some pretty amazing sales! And like, all the time, for top-teir games! 1. I don't know if Steam ever marks them down that much with any of their sales and 2. Big Steam sales are so sparse compared to these!

So is buying games on GOG worth it? Do Steam sales ever go as low as those, or is there like a way to merge libraries?
