What game/task made you decide you didn’t need to 100% EVERY game in your backlog?
Post Body

There was a time when I’d absolutely refuse to drop a game until it was 100% competed. With open word games it became quite time consuming, and it slowly started to feel like work.

The final nail in the coffin for me was Far Cry 4. You had to visit all these little shrines, and you received an achievement for milestones like “25%, 50%, 75%”, but nothing for 100%. The hours of monotonous work for zero reward was the final straw for me.

Don’t get me wrong, I do like to get my money out of a game. If I’m just trying to kill time or having a conversation, I don’t mind those repetitive tasks, but I’ve no longer made it a requirement for me to “complete” a game. Hell, I’ve even been skipping DLC on occasion (GOTY Editions).

Honorable mentions:
-BOTW Korok seeds
-Batman AK: Riddler clues
-The Witcher 3: Ocean question marks
-Fishing in literally every game.
-Bethesda games
