I played this a little bit as a kid when it first came out and then dropped it. I remember just thinking it was too hard at the time and just didn't understand it. Playing it through on PC with 60 fps and with the quality of life stuff that final mix included was just so fun. My favorite was getting all the different keyblades and seeing my stats just climb as I got better at the game.

I love all the disney references and while some of the worlds (Tarzan and Little Mermaid) are a bit of a slog the rest of the game is fun and engaging and creative. It's still PS2 ass voice acting and not very good but that's part of the charm.

I'm glad I finally got through it and enjoyed every bit of it start to finish. Highly recommend picking up the collection on sale and spending a week or so getting through it. DEFINITELY use a walkthrough because of the PS2 logic is just lost by modern standards.
