Would have clinical lab experience make me a good candidate?
Post Body

I was curious to see what everyone thought about have lab experience before going to med school and specializing in pathology. Iโ€™m thinking about doing the MCAT and going to med school. I donโ€™t have the best grades but I hope that working in the medical field and especially in the lab would help me be a good candidate. I am already shadowing the pathologist here and I was going to see if he can connect me to other pathologist in town to help me get a grasp on what to expect in pathology. Any advice?
