I haven't played since harbinger league and I really didn't get into the game that much even then, but since I've seen the gameplay of PoE2 I want to get back into the game.

I want to build my character around Essence Drain and Contagion and just chaos dot melt everything I see. I never followed any guides or did any research before, but now I actually looked up a guide, and looked into skills. One guide uses the trickster, the other one the occultist. I'm a sucker for occult, witches, dark magic and stuff, so I'd rather go with the occultist (I also prefer playing with a female character AND I don't really like the voice lines of the shadow)

My question is: Am I going to handy cap myself in any way if I go with the Occultist instead of the Trickster?
