Before i took the node, i felt like i was constantly dying to small hits. Im playing a deadeye in ssf, lightning arrow naturally, so i had already built up a lot of evasion. But due to how evasion works, i am guaranteed to be hit by almost always unmitigated damage every x attacks recieved. Decided at that point id rather have consistency with Iron reflexes. Two nodes away, and boom now i have 17k armour w/o flasks. Can stand in the middle of an abyss and be fine, wasnt able to do that before. So good

TLD;DR: take iron reflexes, armor is way better than evasion
