So my interest in this game has started to ramp up, and I've got a level 49 Juggernaut that I've been enjoying so far. My only thing is, I feel like the way I got to this point has not been fully optimized. My passive skill tree has mostly been random and not following a specific path, and also I feel like I'm not utilizing augments on my equipment properly in order to create the sockets/links I need for my skills.

My main questions are:

1. Do I need a specific build path in order to enjoy my character, or is it viable to pick as I go while I find the playstyle I'm comfortable with?
2. Is this the type of game where I should be farming certain bosses to get a "legendary" (if that's the term used in this community) weapons/equipment? Or would I have more luck with crafting?

Again, I appreciate all your suggestions and I'm happy to finally have hopped onto this game!
