My biggest takeaway from Endless Delve: content being gated by the difficulty of the content instead of a progression state feels Really Good.

Post Body

It feels genuinely amazing to be able to just hop in and slam your build against the biggest threat the game can muster without having to fiddle with accumulating an external resource or undertaking the Sisyphean task of getting the Atlas up to full strength.

For the first time in a long time, the time I spent in town fiddling with items wasn't focused on how to get more resources to be able to play the game - it was focused on how to survive the challenge I'm throwing myself against, and picking which path is least likely to get me killed.

This is good. I don't necessarily know how to extend that feeling to the rest of the game, but if anyone at GGG can figure it out, please do.
