I'm a console player and I'm new to the game this league. I've just used around 500 Orbs of Alteration to get '35% Damage Over Time Multiplier' on an item level 82 thicket bow. I'm unsure whether to continue using Orbs of Alteration to try and get DOTM and Attack Speed, or whether I should now continue with using Metallic Fossils and Corroded Fossils. I believe the Fossils will give me a chance at getting 2 to socketed bow gems and 1 to socketed gems with a chance at Attack Speed, though if I don't get what I want I'm unsure what I'm suppose to do next.
