Winter orb on legion monolith

I've been trying out Trickster Eternity Shroud Winter Orb and I've been having trouble clearing monolith legions.
I can basically one shot all of the mob but the winter orb projectile frequency seems too low to cover both legions.
Anyone else have this problem?
