Hey guys. So as per everyone's advice, I bought a currency tab. I also bought an essence tab. I figure I'll need it later. Not sure what essence does. I should be playing Mass Effect:Andromeda right now, (probably being dissapointed while doing so), but Path is just so so good. This is the ARPG I wanted and didn't even know that I wanted. I'm so hyped for the new patch in the summer. So on to my points.
I FINISHED THE FIRST RUN ON NORMAL. Act 4 man. that's gonna be tough on cruel and how do you even do that on the final difficulty? Especially Malachi. Like, MAN. From there I started straight into cruel difficulty with my marauder. I'm thinking of running the witch now for a little while to experience a different playstyle.
The bosses in this game feel like actual bosses. I was so used to diablo 3 style "4 hit bosses" and dashing on. Poe feels much more methodical. Tactical. Placement of your character actually matters. It's quite refreshing. Like for my dark souls fans out there, it's comparable, for me at least, to learning combat in those games. At first it slaps you around like you're a piece of raw meat and then you learn a little bit at a time, and you just feel so satisfied as you see yourself improving. #feelsgoodman
I love the flask system. Those of you used to this system, may not understand how cool it is to a new player. I feel like it adds a layer of depth to the game.
Metal and this game go great together. Just sayin. (Especially Slayer)
Reccomended builds for a witch that is kind of necromancy-ish?
I installed a loot filter, and this feature is literally the bees-knees. :D Using Ziggy D's at the moment!
I'm starting to wonder if I should set up my key bindings a specific way that will be benificial. I also play with a razer naga, and am considering binding some actions to the numbers on my keyboard so I can use them on my mouse. Not like skills, but maybe like switch weapons or something. I don't even know if that would be useful.
After Cruel is done, should I try to get all the way through the final difficulty or should I focus on getting to a point in grinding? looking for direction now.
All right y'all. That's it for me tonight. Gonna force myself to try and play some mass effect then go to bed. Think I found my new addiction in this game though. Happy because I feel this title has a long future ahead of it.
Till next time
