Can anyone suggest a budget AFK build for someone who lags a lot?

I play a lot with a friend of mine. He is pretty good at clearing maps and carrying me. But he only has to carry me because I lag too often to keep myself alive with pots. I've been looking into a couple builds, like righteous fire, and am just curious if anyone here has a suggestion for a build that suits my needs. I just want to still be helpful while I stare at a frozen picture.
