Question on Scions in Atlas
Post Body

Hello Everyone,

Currently counting down the hours until I can leave work and nuke my brain on PoE for the next three days. I've been playing off and on since the way-way-back days, but I've always hit a leveling ceiling between 49 and 60. Granted, the ceiling has been getting higher from one season to the next, but I'd like to take the fresh start opportunity to "do it right" this time.

Based on what I've been reading, it looks like Scions are really out of favor, and that may be heavily contributing to my problems (I've been maining Scion since it came out). However, I really like playing as a Scion, and if there's a way to make it work and get to the Atlas goodies I'd like to go that route.

I guess the main questions I have are:

1) Are there any viable Scion builds that I can work towards?

2) If not, what's a good build for me to try if I want to see the "full game" while learning more about how a good build fits together? (What I'm trying to get at is a build that isn't too esoteric when it comes to how all of the pieces fit together- I'd like to understand /why/ I'm selecting certain nodes and going after certain gear, rather than just following a guide)

3) Are there any good streamers/youtubers who go in-depth about the thought process behind PoE theorycrafting in an approachable way?

Thanks in advance,

-Dave
