Noob trade question - are gems worth keeping?

I've managed to amass two tabs full of gems, is there a 'list' of gems that are worth keeping / trading? Tried to google & reddit something but most are pre 2.0 which from my knowledge, shuffled the way it works and now some are sold on vendors
