What should I know before making the jump to Nemesis? What do new players usually die to here?
Post Body

So I'm not completely new to the game. I've made a few characters on Domination, and most have gotten to Merciless and have been doing fine. Haven't done maps yet, though. And even on Merc, I usually end up wanting to try a new character after clearing A1.

The issue is that I end up getting killed a lot. Especially in Act 3. Especially in fights like Dominus. Part of this is due to playing a little wreckless, and part of it is from not going as defensive as I would if I were playing hardcore. OBviously in HC, I'll be sure to grab as much life as possible and keep my resists capped.

How do you guys make it through a fight like Dominus, though? The first phase is just brutal. I can make it through his human phase no problem, but almost always get wrecked by his final phase (usually when he Blood Rains and I'm trapped with him in his bubble and get cleaved to death). And that's just standard stuff. I know Nemesis adds a lot of new mods. I watched Kripp's video on the Nemesis mods, but I was just curious what advice you guys would have for someone new to Nemesis.

Planning on starting with Ziggy's EK Scion, figure that's a good build to open with. Also looking for a guild if anyone has room. I usually play with a few RL friends of mine, but none of them want to play on hardcore, and I just don't like playing in softcore anymore.
