Anyone needing help to get their ascendancies, or it is just me being bad at the game.

I am getting too demotivated to get my first ascendancies, the sanctum mechanic was wayy too punishing for me, i am the most skilled player but those perma mini volcano of the boss is way too hard to dodge around when the fight gets longer and longer, I am hoping the ultimatum might be easier, but if its not then maybe ill put this game down for now,
