The decision to show nerfed characters against gauntlet-like enemies was terrible...

I'm very excited for POE 2 and from what I'm seeing in terms of build design, the massive customization in character development, the weapon swap stuff, the "stagger" mechanic and stacking ailments on bosses, the inherent fluidity on movement and rolling, all of this I think are great changes and make room for a great new game.

Have over 10k hours in POE 1, and while I love clearing screens as much as the next guy I'm ready for a POE experience with more meaningful combat and interactions, while keeping its depth and RNG-reward loop. And that's what POE 2 looks like its promising. So I'm really hyped for more...

...that said...

whoever decided to showcase nerfed 1-link characters against overtuned gauntlet-like enemies should be fired. I want to see the power of the characters, I want to see how the build choices affect them and how certain skills kill enemies, I want to see how effective the combat is. Instead we got to see Preach run into an unkillable life-regenning rare. Ziz getting stunned into oblivion like he's trying to run through mudflats with a blindfold on. And Mathil getting dragged by an enemy offscreen into a pack.

I can't for the life of me understand why they thought this was a good idea to showcase.
