#EDIT: just to clarify, this post is only about T4 solo full clear speed, sorry if i didn't make that clearer.

There is some debate to whether 1 point BoI with full BS synergy is better than max BoI with partial BS synergy. To this end I have done some testing and want to show my results for T4 Full clearing.

First of all I would like to state that I am not the best mapper. If u watch these vids you will see me taking bad paths and generally making mistakes (like dying lol). But I think I am at least consistently inefficient :p so hopefully that means the runs are comparable.

The gear is basically exactly the same in both builds. I show gear and skills before each run.

Max BS

Skills= 1 BoI, 20 Venom, 15 Claw Mastery, 20 Blade Shield, 20 Blade Throw, 19 Blade Fury

Run 1 - 33min (lost ~3 min to death) - Video Link

Mlep Run - 21min 30sec - Not my run, similar gear but he is lvl 96 (maxed all skills) and definitely better at mapping - Video Link

Max BoI

Skills= 20 BoI, 20 Venom, 20 Claw, 5 BoS, 20 BS, 11 Blade Throw

Run 2 - 21min 30 sec - (using 2skill highlords. merc died half way, didn't bother reviving) - Video Link

Extra Run - Max BoI (different gear)

Skills= 20 BoI, 20 Venom, 20 Claw, 4 BoS, 20 BS, 11 Blade Throw.

Gear= 3xLo Nat claw, Pheonix Mon, CoH DS, 2 sin skill 30frw helm (cham), Highlords, Dracs gloves, verdungo best , Shadow Dancer boots, Wisp Ring, BK Ring, 2x 5 BS claw on switch, 9x trap skillers, Sin Torch, Anni, Res/FHR sc.

Merc= Trechery Eth AP, Pride Thresher Eth, SteelShade Helm socketed with 15ias/splash Cham.

Conclusion?

For T4 full clear.... If we take Mlep's run as the gold standard for full BS, then it doesn't really matter if you choose max BS or max BoI.

However, I personally found full BoI to be much faster and easier that full BS. Also you can do it with a bigger variety of gear only losing a few mins going CoH Dracs over Engima LoH, it is overall alot cheaper build, as you don't need expensive FHR and res all charms.

For a do it all Sin, i think max BoI is better, with a change of gear you can easily do ubers, dclone and even Gold Find easily (i get 300k per min, no barb GF but not bad, it takes longer to gamble than to GF for me). With full BS synergy you don't really gain anything for uber/dclone/GF by maxing BS synergies and you lose alot with a 1 point BoI. I'm not saying you can't do it, you can, its just harder.

Also to max out all skills on full BS you need to be level 96, which isn't really ideal for most people.

TLDR: They are basically the same for t4 full clear speed. Max BoI wins for uber/dclone and gear flexibity.

Note: Loosing 10 BS skills Pride aura doesn't seems to have that big an impact on clear speed.

Max BoI, 1 point Venom, 50 BS with Full synergies

Note: Best of both worlds, seems the fastest and strongest build for mapping I have tested so far! Pretty sure you can get under 19min with this. Not sure how 1 point venom would affect ubers/dclone runs.
