I'm allergic to tomatoes, does anyone have a red sauce without them that is similar to a traditional tomato sauce in flavour? I have made one with red bell peppers/capsicums before but I can't quite replicate a similar flavour, the sweet/acid ratio is always off.
Edit: I'm asking if anyone has a tested recipe blending a variety of vegetables and flavours to make a sauce replicating a tomato one, commonly known as "nomato" sauce. If you do not have a recipe or an understanding of the question, it is not necessary for you to reply. It's just a cooking question.
