I’m told I (40m) have a nice voice, and I’m a decent writer. Quite a few people have suggested to me that I should record guided meditations, others have told me that I should write erotic literature and record myself reading it.

That’s all fine, I’m down to try, but I don’t know anything about how to turn it into income. Are there markets or platforms where people pay money for audio clips? How would I get paid as a content creator?

Or alternatively, if I were to seek out this sort of work but only on the writing side, or only on the audio side (providing content for other voices to read, or reading and recording content from other writers) how would I go about it?

If I wanted to maximize profits, is there a “best” platform or a “best” multi-platform strategy?
