Calling all Subaru Parts Managers
Post Body

So I have an opportunity to run a Subaru store, was given a very generous offer. What are some of the challenges running this car line?

Aside from the oil, I’m used to how they bill oil for warranty cause VW does it the same way and I did VW for 10 years, Nissan is similar as well.

They want to up their wholesale, is it something that is possible or does the manufacturer make it harder?

I know they group their parts the same way as Nissan with a 4-5 digit prefix, I couldn’t find anything online with all the groups listed.

Any cheat sheets or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Just a back ground, been doing parts for 25 years, parts director/service for 10 and currently doing fixed operations consulting for a few Chevy dealers.
