I’ve worked with some real shitty coworkers over the years, either constant absences leaving your short handed, lazy, stupid, all sorts of reasons. What’s the worst one you have worked with?

My current coworker probably takes the award for me. He’s been here for like 2 years and still forgets that you type in someone’s last name to pull them up and not their first. He’s dumb. Argues with techs, and takes forever for to do anything. The parts manager has had to have multiple conversations with him about not have needless half hour plus personal phone calls. I one time found him in the body section looking for a starter.

He’s really the only negative I have about my work, thankfully. I’ve talked to my manager about him multiple times, but I think it’s time for another.

Literal word for word message I got from him the other day “You know that guy from the place we order parts from? He called and asked to talk to you”. That guy from the place. No phone number. No contact name. Nothing. I asked him how that helps me call him back and he said “Should I have taken a message?” I just walked away.
