Hello everyone, I’m new to this group and I joined because I just bought a blue Ringneck Parrot. Now let me start by saying she/he is not my first bird, but they are my first “big” parrot. I lost my cockatiel of 15 years 5yrs ago and I wasn’t ready for another bird until I saw this girl today. I won’t be bringing her home for about another month, she’s still being weaned, but I am here to look for tips on Ringneck Parrots if anyone has any. I’ve done my research and I know they can be a little moody, I know they also go through a bluffing period and that’s something I’d like more insight on too, along with tips for handling it.
